Patient Zero

“Outside of the cross of Jesus Christ, there is no hope in this world. The cross and resurrection at the core of the Gospel is the only hope for humanity. Wherever you go, ask God for wisdom on how to get the Gospel in, even in the toughest situations of life.” - Ravi Zacharias

Spread the gospel around the globe not COVID
Why can't something as incredible as the Gospel spread life throughout the world?

According to the World Heath Organization, the first person (Patient Zero) to show signs of COVID-19 began displaying symptoms on December 1, 2019.

Wow, what a year!

The rapid spread has been astounding. Patient Zero infected a few others, they in turn passed it along to those they encountered, and the dominoes have fallen around the world.

If something as insidious as COVID-19 can spread death around the globe, why can’t something as incredible as the Gospel spread life throughout the world?

Paul gave Timothy a simple, yet profound strategy, “The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” (I Timothy 2:2)

The design cascades through four generations, Paul to Timothy, Timothy to reliable teachers, reliable teachers to others.

That model has worked well – and not so well. Those of us who have heard the good news and responded to the Gospel are the beneficiaries of Paul, Timothy, reliable teachers, and others who – over centuries and generations – have faithfully engaged this strategy. But many remain unaffected.

This holiday season pass along the good news of hope and forgiveness to those you love.
