Dan Bolin
President & Board Chair

Dr. Dan Bolin is an author, teacher, and ministry leader dedicated to helping Christian leaders serve with wisdom, humility, and grace. As President of Refueling in Flight Ministries, he encourages pastors, board members, and nonprofit leaders around the world to lead in ways that honor God and strengthen His people.
With more than forty years of experience in Christian leadership, Dr. Bolin has served as International Director of Christian Camping International, President of KVNE/KGLY Christian Radio, and Executive Director of Pine Cove Christian Camps. His extensive background also includes teaching, consulting, and speaking engagements in over thirty countries, where he has guided ministries in leadership development, strategic planning, and board governance.
Dr. Bolin holds a Doctor of Ministry from Denver Seminary, a Master of Business Administration from LeTourneau University, and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous books, including Blueprints, Jesus: Camp Director, and A Board Prayer.
Dan and his wife, Cay, make their home in Culpeper, Virginia, where they enjoy time with their family, grandchildren, and the beauty of God’s creation.

Cay Bolin

Cay has been active in ministry for many years. She and her husband, Dan, served on staff at Pine Cove Christian Camps for over 20 years. She was Director of Children’s Ministry at Bethel Bible Church two times, totaling 10 years in that role. She has been active in Bible Study Fellowship, Mom's in Prayer, and other women’s Bible study groups. Cay is a RN and a graduate of Baylor University. She worked as a school nurse in Dallas and Tyler. She and Dan have been married for close to 50 years. They have two daughters, one son-in-law, and two adorable grandchildren!

Bedford Holmes

Bedford is an experienced former CEO with a successful history of working in the conference center, camp and education world. He is a strong business development professional with a Master of Education degree focused in Higher Ed Administration from George Fox University with over 35 years of experience in leading non-profit organizations.
He has accumulated much skill in guiding, enhancing and improving the institutions that he has led including organizing and directing programs, projects, maintenance, guest services, public relations, budgets and administration. He is skilled in determining corporate objectives, philosophy, and policies as well as planning and implementing resourcing efforts. Bedford knows how to build consensus, coordinate, strategize, broker resources, build vision and lubricate the organization with lots of encouragement.
Bedford and his wife Sara live in Tyler, Texas and have been married close to 50 years. They have three grown daughters, three sons in law and eight grandchildren.

Brad Mercer
Assistant Secretary
Ridgeland, Mississippi
Brad is a graduate of the University of Texas, Reformed Theological Seminary, and the University of Wales, UK, where he wrote his dissertation on C.S. Lewis. Brad served as a Director at Pine Cove Christian Conference Center in Tyler, Texas. He also served as a pastor at Tyler Presbyterian Church and Fifth Street Presbyterian Church, both in Tyler.
He was on the Executive Staff at First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, for eight years. Most recently, he was the Senior Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greenwood, MS. He is currently the Senior Associate Pastor at Highlands Presbyterian Church. Brad and his wife, Cindy, have two grown children. Their daughter, Hannah, and her husband, Scott, have three boys and one daughter; Ethan, Levi, Luke and Rosemary. Their son, Harrison, and his wife, Carissa, have two sons; Tyler and Ian.

Ken Sutterfield

Ken currently serves as a Development Consultant with Hueston Consulting Group. His previous body of professional work includes developing and directing camps in Arkansas and Texas for over 25 years, 10 years in private secondary education leadership and over 10 years as a development officer for Social Services Agencies and Emergency & Disaster support.
Ken is the author and co-author of two books and numerous articles and white papers. Ken and his wife Jan met while attending Ouachita Baptist University in their native Arkansas and have been married for over 45 years and are the parents of two married sons and five grandchildren all living in Central Arkansas.
